Our school Moskovská 2, is very actively involved in the Erasmus Plus programme, which provides us with opportunities for international cooperation and cultural exchange. As part of this programme, we were privileged to welcome a group of teachers from Germany and France. Their visit was an opportunity to discuss and plan upcoming activities and mobilities for the 2023/2024 school year.
The main objective of our meeting was to plan in detail future mobilities. We specifically focused on activities related to environmental education and climate change issues in the mountains of Europe. This target will allow us to strengthen the students’ awareness of the importance of the environment and provide them with the opportunity to acquire new knowledge through practice and interaction with classmates from foreign schools.
As part of the planned activities, the three school are committed to a variety of environmental education activities including discussions on the impact of climate change on Europe’s mountain ranges, field activities and research that will enable pupils to gain a concrete insight into the impacts of these changes on biodiversity, geology and the environment of the mountain ranges.
We are extremely excited about the initiative that this visit by teachers from abroad has triggered, and we are confident that this collaboration and the planned activities will provide valuable experiences for the pupils and the whole schools.
