Our journey to Slovenia began early in the morning with a long but exciting train and bus trip for the team Slovakia through Bratislava, Vienna and Villach and for the German team through Munich, Salzburg and Villach before finally arriving in the city of Kranj. There, our host families welcomed us warmly and took us to their homes, where we had dinner and rested after the trip.
The following day was Family Day, and we enjoyed a variety of fun and relaxing activities. Some students visited the seaside town of Piran, while others explored the stunning Lake Bled or ventured underground to the caves at Postojna and Škocjan. A few joined a local gathering, experiencing Slovenian hospitality and traditional food. It was a perfect day filled with sunshine, laughter, and cultural exchange.
