Today’s adventure began with a morning meet-up at school, followed by a bus ride to a local museum showcasing the history of skiing in Slovenia and traditional leather production. It was a great way to learn more about the region’s cultural heritage before heading into the mountains.
After the museum, we continued our journey by bus to the starting point of our hike. Once there, we enjoyed our packed lunch and then began our ascent into the beautiful alpine landscape.
We took a break at a mountain hut before hiking further up to a nearby summit. The views were stunning, and the fresh mountain air gave us energy for what came next—a fun snowball fight and a snowman-building competition between countries. The German group proudly claimed victory with the biggest and most creative snowman!
We returned to the hut, where a warm dinner awaited us. After a long day of hiking, snow, and laughter, we relaxed and reflected on the amazing experience in nature.
