This day started with documentation, documentation, and again documentation. In international groups, we were working on reports for our blog on the project webpage. Here we could learn how important it is to be able to cooperate, to share ideas and communicate in a common foreign language, to accept the ideas of the teammates and agree on common content.
During the little break, we celebrated the European Erasmus Days with the whole school. There were tables from Slovenia, Slovakia and Germany. The students from all Erasmus schools and projects prepared some tongue twisters. If you pronounced a tounge twister right, you got some countries´ typical sweets and other gift items provided by the host school. It was not an easy task, but we all had a lot of fun. Teachers, Erasmus+ students and all other students throughout the school.
The last project activity was also the evaluation and presentation of the results of the online questionnaire, which the pupils had to fill in during their trip to Augsburg. In the afternoon, then came the long-awaited word “shopping”. The students spent their free time in the town centre searching for the last gifts for their families.
At seven o’clock, they met again for the farewell party in the town, at the Philisteria mercatura club. Parents prepared a great catering with delicious dishes, students played darts and table football and at the end, they got the certificates of attendance. But the end of the week was yet to come, in the form of a walk around the city, where the “Light Night” event took place. The historic buildings in the city centre were illuminated with beautiful images telling the history of the city and its current face.
