Mobility week in Augsburg Nov. 23 – Saturday

“Have you packed?”, “And what are you taking for the trip? Chicken Schnitzel with salad? I don’t think so, do you?”, “How many hoodies should we pack?”… “Don’t forget to wake up in the morning, we’re travelling very early…”, “…and check the travel documents!”
That’s what travel fever can look like. Not surprisingly, for some of the pupils who are part of the Erasmus team this school year, it was probably their first such a long and distant journey without their parents. But of course, in the excellent care of the teachers from our school and the partner school from France. Preparations for the trip were probably just as hectic for our classmates from Ambérieu. But we made it. After a few train changes, we arrived in Augsburg, where the pupils from the Gymnasium Jakob Fugger and their parents were already waiting for their classmates to take them to their families. After the first shy phrases, nothing stood in the way of a week full of unforgettable and unrepeatable experiences.

In the evening, all Erasmus teams met for a joint dinner to officially start the first mobility. It was very pleasant to see how the initial fears and barriers fell away and all the pupils talked to each other as if they were old friends.
