Every year, on 11 December, people around the world have a wonderful opportunity to see the world from above, from the perspective of our mountains, during International Mountain Day. This globally recognised event teaches us to appreciate and raise awareness of the importance of mountains in our lives.
Students from the Erasmus+ accredited partner schools, working together on climate change in mountain regions, met online and took the opportunity to engage in creative activities that not only celebrated the majesty of the mountains, but also educated them about the crucial role these natural wonders play in our world.
Working in international groups, students created stories for our ‘Let the mountains speak’ storybook. Students sent a message to people in the form of a letter written by the mountain itself.
