Nowadays, we often hear that the most beautiful gift we can give someone is our time. This is even more true at Christmas time, when we really try to spend it with our loved ones as much as possible. Baking, watching fairy tales, playing board games… We didn’t have this opportunity with our partner school classmates, but we made time for them. Namely before Christmas, when we worked hard and creatively on presents for them. And of course, in the sense of sustainability and recycling. Some of us baked, others knitted, others cut up old jeans and sewed them into various interesting and useful gifts, we glued and cut Christmas cards, we made up Christmas and New Year wishes, we recycled old toys, and we also recycled jam jars.
Christmas doesn’t have to be about presents worth several hundred Euros. What is important is the feeling that there is someone who has time for us.
