Our journey into the mountains started at 9.09 am on 16 October 2024 at Augsburg main station, where we boarded the regional train to Kempten. We changed trains there and took the next train to Sonthofen. After getting off there, we took a bus, where after a half-hour journey we arrived at a viewing platform.
